Pavilion and Playing Fields, Queensway, Potterhanworth

Fun, food, beer & music!

About The EVENT

Potterhanworth Beer Festival began in 2008 when a group of like-minded individuals got together one evening, and over a pint or two decided it would be a great idea to host an annual beer festival.

Better still, invite some great local bands, provide delicious home produced food and get to sample the local breweries finest ales. A few pints later…. cider, a gin bar, wines, prosecco’s and vodka were added. Now full of beer bravado we even dared consider making a profit and donating it to the village to worthwhile projects and groups.

Fast forward several years and in 2024 Potterhanworth celebrates it’s 16th Annual Beer Festival and much of that is down to the beer drinking, party going locals. Yes you lot helped make this happen and we’d like to invite you back again, bring your friends and keep making this happen. Why – well take a look at our projects page to see what you helped us achieve.

The festival is still run by a group of unpaid volunteers who do it for the love of the village and a good night out.

It is of course a huge amount of fun! Live music, great drinks and a fantastic group of friends. What’s not to like!
