What time do the gates open?
Gates open at 4PM. Live music finishes at 11.30 PM with the playing field cleared by 12 AM.
Do you offer any discounts or concessions?
For under 18’s all tickets are £5. Please bring ID as we often need to check, this includes if you are under 25!
Are dogs allowed at the event?
Well behaved dogs welcome, but please keep them on a lead.
What happens if there’s bad weather?
If the festival grounds can be made safe then the event will go ahead regardless of weather. Bring an umbrella if there’s rain forecast, but there are three marquees, and a pavilion to shelter under. We might revisit this rule if the weather looks particularly bad – keep an eye on our social media feeds nearer the time.
How is the event supporting good causes?
The event is organised and run by a team of volunteers. All profits from the event are used to support local good causes. Visit our projects page for further details. Wherever possible, we aim to support the community by using local traders and breweries to supply the event.
Can I camp on the grounds?
We do allow camping, but to manage numbers please contact us first via our Face Book page.
Can I bring a camping chair/deck chair?
Sure, no problem, but please remember to take them home at the end of the day.
Can I bring a gazebo, tent, wind break or beach shelter?
To make sure everyone has a good view of the live music, we won’t be allowing any of these onto the festival grounds. Keep an eye on the web site and our social media feeds closer to the time as we might revisit this decision if the weather looks particularly bad.
Can I bring my own food and/or drinks?
We’ve tried to price our drinks offerings reasonably and there will be some excellent local caterers at the event. We want you to support them so that they can come back next year, and for that reason, outside food and drinks aren’t permitted into the event, with the exception of bottled water and juice boxes for kids. Any other outside food or drinks won’t be allowed beyond the entry gates.
Can I bring a BBQ?
Absolutely not. The festival is held on a sports pitch and we don’t want to cause any more damage to the grass than we have to. Same goes for camping stoves of any kind.
Is there local parking available?
There are plenty of parking spaces available on the playing field. We have parking attendants on site to direct you.
I purchased tickets but can’t attend the event. Can I get a refund?
All ticket sales are final, this includes pre-purchased beer token vouchers. If you’re unable to attend the event then we can transfer your tickets into a new name, just get in touch via our Facebook page.
I didn’t spend all my beer tokens. Can I exchange them back for cash?
Unfortunately we’re unable to exchange unspent tokens for cash once purchased, and tokens are only valid for the event in the year that they’re purchased. For that reason, we don’t recommend purchasing more than you plan on spending.
Do Children get in for free?
Any child 5 or under gets in free of charge.
